SUMMER HOURS<\/strong><\/span>
\nEffective Monday, June 10 our summer hours will be 7 am to 7 pm from Monday to Friday and 9 am to 5 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The Caf\u00e9 may stay open longer to accommodate for special events. Don’t forget the Rendez-vous is an ideal location for community meetings and events – and it’s free! Come and enjoy the opportunity to socialize between friends with a glass of wine and see the works accomplished during the past year. Take a look at the prints collection of the La Manivelle, which until now was sleeping in our drawers. Art de la Baie showcase series – Graphos with Claude Chaloux : Thursday, June 27, 10 am-3 pm<\/strong>
\nLe Conseil des Arts de la Baie and Clare Tourism Department have teamed up to create a showcase project of local artists for the summer of 2013, taking place at the Rendez-vous de la Baie. Come watch talented artists at work or participate in a workshop.
\n* Graphos with Claude Chaloux :<\/strong> a short workshop integrating the techniques of linocutting and ceramics. Claude will lead a short demonstration, followed by participants learning the carving process with 1-2 small pieces of lino, and imprinting their creations using a special ceramic clay. Participants will make and keep their own creations! ex: medallions, pendants and other jewelry. 30-50 minutes. Offered in English or French. Material will be provided. ACTIVITIES IN CLARE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Clare Community Calendar<\/strong><\/a> is a free tool to promote events and activities in Clare. You will see a wide variety of events, including community events, general entertainment, leisure, tourism, festivals and cultural activities, as well as activities taking place at Universit\u00e9 Sainte-Anne and at the Rendez-vous de la Baie.<\/p>\n

This calendar is a free service to event organizers, and also serves as a planning tool to improve the coordination of events in Clare. Event organizers can add events by calling R\u00e9anne Flynn at 902-769-3655, or e-mail her at reception@municipality.clare.ns.ca<\/p>\n

LA BOUTIQUE BERLICOCO<\/strong><\/span>
\nThe Rendez-vous de la Baie souvenir boutique will be expanded once again in 2013. Starting this Spring, the boutique is offering a wide range of University clothing<\/strong>, including t-shirts, sweaters and coats featuring the Universit\u00e9 Sainte-Anne Dragons logo.

Danny Blinn will lead this experience every Monday during the tourist season, using a 14-seat Transport de Clare bus.
