You will see a wide variety of events, including community events, general entertainment, leisure, tourism, festivals and cultural activities, as well as activities taking place at Universit\u00e9 Sainte-Anne and at the Rendez-vous de la Baie.<\/p>\n This calendar is a free service to event organizers, and also serves as a planning tool to improve the coordination of events in Clare. There will be 20,000 copies printed, which include free visitor services listings on the back. \nEffective Tuesday, April 2, our Spring operating hours are 7 am to 5 pm from Monday to Friday, and 9 am to 3 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Operating hours will be extended again following the long weekend in May. \nAs a follow-up from the first session last November, Clare tourism stakeholders are invited to participate in a networking session in Digby to discuss tourism partnerships. The meeting will take place on April 25, from 10 to 12 noon at the Digby Arena. Light lunch served. Please confirm your attendance with Larry at 902-769-1234.<\/p>\n
\nGood luck to Lisette Gaudet, who recently left her position as General Manager to pursue a new opportunity. Lisette has played a key role with tourism in Clare over the years, having served as president of the Clare Tourism Committee, representing industry on the YASTA board, as well as being a great partner for the Rendez-vous de la Baie. At the same time, the Rendez-vous is looking forward to collaborating with the Festival team for 2013.<\/p>\n
\nThe first Nocturne \u00e0 la Baie, a Festival celebrating Art at night, was held on Friday, March 22. A large number of events throughout Clare were organized by the F\u00e9deration r\u00e9gionale des arts et du patrimoine (FRAP), which attracted very good participation and positive feedback.
