Free Fun Day at the Manivelle – Friday, Feb. 21, 10:30-2 pm<\/strong>
\nLa Manivelle print shop will be open free of charge to our members and non-members, to encourage participation in the upcoming exposition. This is a perfect opportunity to work on your creations for the next exhibition at the Tr\u00e9carr\u00e9 gallery: “Flashlight” (Nocturne), from March 18-April 30.

\nNocturne \u00e0 la Baie – Friday evening, March 22<\/strong>
\nThe Rendez-vous de la Baie will be participating in the program by offering a guided storytelling tour led by Danny Blinn in the Acadian Interpretive Centre. This tour will be themed “Legends of the Baie” and will be guided in the dark using lanterns. ACTIVITIES IN CLARE!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Clare Community Calendar<\/strong><\/a> is a free tool to promote events and activities in Clare. You will see a wide variety of events, including community events, general entertainment, leisure, tourism, festivals and cultural activities, as well as activities taking place at Universit\u00e9 Sainte-Anne and at the Rendez-vous de la Baie.<\/p>\n

This calendar is a free service to event organizers, and also serves as a planning tool to improve the coordination of events in Clare. Event organizers can add events by calling R\u00e9anne Flynn at 902-769-3655, or e-mail her at reception@municipality.clare.ns.ca<\/p>\n

PARTNERSHIPS IN PROGRESS<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Art de la Baie<\/strong>
\nLe Conseil des Arts de la Baie and Clare Tourism Department have teamed up to create a showcase project of 12 local artists for the summer of 2013, taking place at the Rendez-vous de la Baie.
\nClick to learn how to participate in a new cultural tourism experience with artists!<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Yarmouth & Acadian Shores Visitors Guide<\/strong>
\nA working committee has been established to assist YASTA staff improve the content for the 2013 guide. The Clare region will have a significant presence in the content as in previous versions. At least 35,000 copies will be published.<\/p>\n

Digby County Visitors Guide<\/strong>
\nFor the first time in several years, the Clare region will be promoted in the 2013 Digby County Visitors Guide, published annually by the Digby Courier. This new partnership will improve the visibility of the Rendez-vous de la Baie and the Clare region in the Digby market for the 2013 season.<\/p>\n
