SPRING HOURS<\/strong><\/span> 2014 ACTIVITIES MAP<\/strong><\/span> The Clare Tourism Department has coordinated an Activities Map for Clare to promote the region. These map-brochures are available at the Rendez-vous de la Baie, and are being distributed throughout Clare and the region. 20,000 copies have been printed and several hundred were distributed at the Saltscapes Expo in Halifax at the end of April.<\/p>\n Click to download a low res pdf version<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n OUR VISITOR INFORMATION CENTRE HAS RE-OPENED!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n We are pleased to welcome back Danny Blinn for another season as our Visitor Information Centre & Programming manager. Danny is coordinating many guided tours for school groups and Fam Tours this Spring. He will also be leading lantern tours in the museum, as well as a guided walking tours through Le Petit Bois, starting in late June! Drop by and pick up some tourism information. Feel free to contact Danny directly: 902-769-2345 or vicclare@gmail.com.<\/p>\n At Le Tr\u00e9carr\u00e9 Art Gallery<\/strong> ACTIVITIES IN CLARE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The Clare Community Calendar<\/strong><\/a> is a free tool to promote events and activities in Clare. You will see a wide variety of events, including community events, general entertainment, leisure, tourism, festivals and cultural activities, as well as activities taking place at Universit\u00e9 Sainte-Anne and at the Rendez-vous de la Baie. This calendar is a free service to event organizers, and also serves as a planning tool to improve the coordination of events in Clare. Their generous contribution provides everyone with free access to the Acadian Interpretive Centre museum halls.<\/p>\n La Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 acadienne de Clare is made up of individuals and organisations that work together to preserve and promote the Acadien language and culture in the Clare region. We represent La F\u00e9d\u00e9ration acadienne de la Nouvelle-\u00c9cosse in the Municipality of Clare. We organize many community base projects. Naturally, most of are activities and projects are conducted in our maternal French language, but they do not exclude the participation of the other official language community nor other minority groups. Visit our office at 795 Comeauville, in the Radio-CIFA building.<\/p>\n Access to the Acadian Interpretive Centre (Museum) at Rendez-vous de la Baie is now free of charge<\/em>. Operating hours will be extended again in late June. In the meantime, the Caf\u00e9 may stay open beyond regular hours of operation to accommodate special events, please contact us at 902-769-3674 to check.<\/p>\n
